The name Cinderella has become iconic ever since Walt Disney produced his 12th animated film, Cinderella. One of the most memorable scenes is her rushing out of the ball leaving her Prince with only a glass slipper to trace her whereabouts. All the women in the land desired to take ownership of such a lovely shoe, which isn’t too far off from the attraction high end designer shoes have to women today.

Disney has had some fairy tale collaborations with several designers from wedding dresses to engagement rings and, of course, shoes inspired by Cinderella. When presenting a designer the inspiration of the most iconic Disney shoe of all time, the outcome surely is to amaze you! Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin have brought fantasy into reality in the most luxurious way.

For the re-release of Cinderella on DVD in 2012, Disney collaborated with Christian Louboutin to create a stiletto inspired by the iconic glass slipper. The shoe was so exclusive that only 20 pairs were made for this limited edition anniversary. Louboutins’ rendition of the glass slipper is so ornate, layered mesh, and lace outlined with crystals spill over to completely cover the heel. All of its components are additionally topped with Aurora Borealis Swarovski Crystal Butterfly. Nor, did he leave out his signature red sole.

The highly anticipated live action-film, Cinderella was released in 2015. Disney partnered with Jimmy Choo to created a red carpet release premier pump for Lily James, the actress cast to portray Cinderella. The classic shoe shape is literally encrusted with crystals from heel to toe and finished with large 1-2 inch crystals arranged in an elegant bouquet atop the toes. This uniquely designed shoe was completed with the highest level of luxury, which produced a breathtaking spin on Cinderellas glass slipper.
