We were lucky enough to visit with one of my personal favorites, Amanda Brezovsky.  Amanda runs the blog at Enchanting Elegance.  Between being a blogger and Mom she also finds time to run a photography business!  Make sure to check out her site with awesome fashion and her Instagram!

When did you launch Enchanting Elegance and what made you decide to get into fashion blogging?

I started Enchanting Elegance in 2014 for my photography business that would also feature a blog on the side ranging from fashion, lifestyle, decorating, food, really anything that I found interesting and thought others might as well. Once I started to focus mainly on fashion, since that is where my passion lies, I saw a big jump in readers and the site took off.  I always loved photography and fashion, which ended up going pretty well together. Both are very creative venues and allow my creativity to flow freely.

How would you describe your personal style?

Three words always come to mind with this question: feminine, classic, and romantic. I love to get dressed up, which probably comes from my style icons Grace Kelly, Jackie Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn, Lauren Conrad, and Kate Middleton. These women are always so well put together and embody, to me, pure elegance.

What inspires your style?

My favorite style decade is the 1950s. Fashion from that time era truly inspires me every day. I’m a big classic movie fan and watch them all the time. Being exposed to the classics at such a young age allowed me to grow up with visions of beauty and sophistication.

What is the one essential item in your wardrobe you couldn’t live without?

Pure and simple, a pair of great fitting jeans. I’ve always had trouble finding a pair that fits since I’m petite (5’2”) and also have a small waist. The brand that fits like a glove is AG. I would recommend getting at least one pair of their jeans! The raw hem ones are my current favorite.

What outfit have you worn that most represents your fashion style?

The one outfit that I could wear for the rest of my life and be happy is a dress and heels. Anything that is feminine and romantic sends my heart fluttering. I also feel the most confidence wearing this outfit and that is important to figure out.

What beauty products can’t you live without?

I have my beauty routine down to a science now and know which products work for me and which don’t. That’s not to say I won’t try something new every now and then! I’m a total beauty junkie really. My favorites are mark. On The Edge Liquid Eyeliner and Circa’s Lipstick in the shade Ava. These are two staples that I’m never without. I also adore mascara, but I do not stay with any particular brand. Anything that lengthens.

You have 94k Instagram followers, that’s amazing! How did you grow such a massive following?

Thank you! I get asked this question quite a bit actually and really it comes down to networking. When I started blogging, I only networked here and there when I had some free time. When I started treating my blog more as a business and setting aside time for networking, that’s when I saw my following begin to really grow. Content is also key to growing your audience. Stay true to who you are and your style. Creating original and interesting content with quality photos will not only grow your audience, but keep them coming back for more

If you could offer some words of encouragement to a newbie or frustrated fashion blogger, what would they be?

Never lose sight of your dream.  Starting your own blog can be frustrating in the beginning, but stay the course and work your absolute hardest. It’s your name being put out there now and that means something much more. You’re now representing yourself.  Blogging takes some serious networking when you’re first starting out. I would spend hours upon hours networking in order to get my name out there. It takes patience and you also need to have some content created for others to view. Creating good content and networking will take you above and beyond where you need to go. Since fashion blogs are a visual medium, it helps to have a nice camera to take photos with as well. You do not need this immediately, but getting one eventually will provide more opportunities than a little point and shoot can. It will also give your blog longevity. Be unique too! There is only one “you” out there and no one wants to follow a copycat. Be an original.

What are your goals for Enchanting Elegance in 2017?

My number one goal for Enchanting Elegance is always to inspire people and if I can continue to do that in 2017, then I feel my blog has been a success. The future is always an exciting thing to think about. There are endless possibilities that lie ahead. One content feature I hope to do more of in 2017 are Mommy and Me posts. I love being able to dress my daughter Ava and I alike. It’s my favorite! Those posts are so special to me.

What advice would you give those other moms trying to balance it all?

First off, it’s impossible to try to have a perfect balance of everything in your life. There is this ideal that moms are supposed to do it all and with a smile on their face. The best advice I can give moms trying to balance it all is to simply take a deep breath and know that if the laundry doesn’t get done today, that’s OK.
