Whitney Port Launches Active Wear Line for Target

Back in The Hills days, Whitney Port was interning at Teen Vogue, followed by The City spinoff chronicling her time working for Diane von Fürstenberg in New York. But these days the former reality star is running her own fashion empire, and it’s expanding by the minute.

Whitney has been designing her own fashion line Whitney Eve since 2008 and has done some collaborations here and there, but now Whitney is switching things up a bit and launching an active wear line called sWEat by Whitney Port, which will be launched exclusively at Target.

Whitney has dropped a sneak peak into the line, modeling some of the pieces herself in an Instagram post. In the shot, she is wearing some mesh cutout leggings, a jacket tied around her waist, and a cutout t-shirt with a sports bra visible underneath. The outfit looks both casual and athletic, really honing in on the athleisure aesthetic.

The capsule collection will offer 16 different pieces, which are said to have “ballet touches” and “soft pinks” inspired by her own personal tastes. Prices will range from  $19.99 to $49.99.

Whitney’s collection is slightly different than Target’s celebrity designer collaborations, in that generally, they work closely alongside the designers to come up with something together. In this case, Whitney dreamed up her collection and then went straight to Target and inquired about the collaboration. They said yes.

sWEat by Whitney Port will be available on Target.com starting Christmas Day.
