Uber has partnered with Public School to give away 100 tickets to their riders in the NYC area (meaning 50 rides and a plus one). This is not the first time Uber has partnered up during New York Fashion Week. Last year Uber partnered with Lyst, the London based e-commerce start-up to deliver gift bags to riders in the NYC area. It has also partnered in similar ways with Rag & Bone and Marc Jacobs in the past as well.
Uber users in NYC on Feb 12th will be able to enter to win tickets to the Milk Studios show by entering the promo code “Publicschool” in the payments tab and then choose the Public School option. If the user is connected with an Uber driver at that time, they will be given after party passes, a special gift designed by Public School and be immediately taken to the show.
Tara Dhingra, the head of Fashion with Uber released the following statement regarding the NYFW partnership with Public School, “It is always our goal to give riders a safe, easy and convenient ride, no matter where they’re going, and find innovative, creative ways to make their ride even more enjoyable”.
The brand designed by Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow actually missed the last two years of NYFW. This year’s show is sponsored by American Express and the designers said this “feels like an extension of our New York story” for their big return to New York Fashion Week.
Public School recently opened a pop up retail store here in New York City at the Cadillac House in Soho at 330 Hudson Street.
